Handmade accordion-style book, with high-relief carving of a lizard. Front and back covers appear to be carved from bone, while pages are plant fiber or very thin sheets of wood. The pages contain drawings, and text in an unidentified or imaginary script. Back cover is marked Made in Indonesia. Purchased in a gift shop in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1998.
