Bud Williams, an African American, discusses his career as a UAW production worker and GM manager at the Fisher Body plant in Lansing, MI

Bud talks about life in Camden, SC, being hired in September 1964, his experiences as a worker in the Trim shop, and his transition to salaried in 1975. He also discusses the reorganization of GM in the mid 1980s, BOC, and the merging of salaried people between Oldsmobile and Fisher.
