Free and open to the public.

FREE parking is available in stadium lot 62E on Red Cedar Road after 6:00pm. The Main Library is wheelchair accessible via the north entrance. Persons with disabilities may request accommodations by calling Birdie Beckwith at 517.884.6454 one week before an event. Requests received after that time will be met when possible.


Beal Botanical Garden Tours

Tours led by Peter Carrington, Assistant Curator of the Garden

The W. J. Beal Botanical Garden is the oldest continuously operated university botanical garden of its kind in the United States. Peter's delightful anecdotes and vast knowledge of plants make his tours an enjoyable way to spend the lunch hour!

*In case of inclement weather, please join us in the Main Library North Conference Room (W449) for a virtual tour of the Beal Garden.
