Electronic Course Packs
Electronic Course Packs are a great option for faculty who are teaching distance learning courses, seeking additional support for flipped/hybrid classrooms, or want to provide innovative course content options for their students. E-packs allow students to instantly access materials through D2L and are an affordable, green alternative to traditional textbooks. We work with you to create a comprehensive electronic course pack, featuring:
- Stable linking to Library E-Resources
- Lower pricing
- Flexible formatting options
- Convenient additional navigational features within the e-pack, like bookmarks and keyword searching
Your students will be provided with a link in your D2L course to follow and purchase access to the e-pack, using a conventional online shopping cart payment experience. We supply complete instructions on how to access their purchased e-pack, and each e-pack PDF contains tips on getting the most use out of the features included.
Not all students prefer electronic formats for reading course content, and others may only use desktop computers, preventing them from easily bringing their e-pack with them to the classroom. If format choice is important to your students, or material should be brought to class, this may be a great add-on option. Print-on-Demand packs are produced in the Main Library, and can be ordered by students online. The Print-on-Demand option cannot be retroactively made available after an e-pack project starts – be sure to request it early on.
