Brave Americans : Sergt. Grady Parrish
Sergeant Grady Parrish, who survived an ambush by five Germans during World War I, killing three and taking the other two prisoner just a kilometer north of Fey-en-Have. Part of a series of portraits painted by Joseph Cummings Chase and commissioned by the Art Committee for the War.
