Ancient fables and modern facts
Two men dressed in Arabic clothing (authors of Arabian Night's fables) are surrounded by items associated to some famous tales, a magic lamp, flying carpet, jewels (magic wealth). The men read a newspaper with headlines highlighting modern inventions such as the airplane, radio, photography, as well as the billions of dollars on European debt to the US. In response, one author claims, "By the beard of the prophet, we're outdone!"
