Maybe something's missing
A man (statesman) drives a beat-up car (Europe wrecked by the war) with several boxes (foreign trade and business) in the back seat. The car stopped working in the middle of a railroad crossing (World War 1914-1918) on the way "to prosperity." The car's tank (financial gas tank) is seen floating In the water below a bridge with an opening (unpaid debts) causing a spill (loss of credit).
