Making a hit with the old folks
A man (voter) and the G.O.P. elephant, wearing a dress and apron, stand in the doorway of a bedroom. Inside the bedroom where a figure sleeps on a bed with a sock nailed to the foot of the bed (Frank O. Lowden's candidacy). On the floor, a boy in short pants and a sailor shirt (Dawes) writes a giant letter to Santa that reads, "Dear Santy, please bring Frank something awful nice. Yours truly, Charlie. P.S. Don't worry about me." Next to him is an envelope addressed: "To Santa, c/o G.O.P. Convention, Kansas City."
