Reliquiæ : an abecedarium of martyred female saints illustrated with VanDyke photographs of extinct animals Reliquiæ was letterpress-printed at Columbia College Chicago Center for Book & Paper Arts in the spring of 2005. The handmade paper is flax and hemp, internally sized and buffered. The font is 17th Century Print, a digital facsimile from a book printed in 1686. The VanDyke brown photographs were printed on handcoated Japanese Gampi paper using digital inkjet negatives. The binding is a modified Romanesque, sewn on cords and laced on quarter-sawn oak boards. There are 5 copies of Reliquiæ, of which this is number 5. (Colophon) MSU copy: includes information card about the book.
