Cover is a gate structure with a magnet closure and applied leaves that hold the cover title, title page, colophon, and a leaf poem. Premio Nobel de Literatura, 1996. Italic typescript, drawings, and decorative borders mimeographed on brown, paper with black tissue papers interspersed, stapled at left margin and glued to art paper wrappers. Wrappers are covered with black paper and illustrated with decorated paper cutouts including burlap, two pieces of pink cheesecloth, a piece of coiled wire, a piece of melted plastic, three pieces of broken blastic, three pieces of sponge, a piece of twine and three pieces of wood. The word fin with an excerpt of the poem is also on the front wrapper. Part of a collection of handmade books, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
