Random thoughts on hope Limited edition of 500 copies. Full color offset printed images representing a visual exploration of time and hope are printed on a single sheet of paper folded accordion style. Reliquiæ : an abecedarium of martyred female saints illustrated with VanDyke photographs of extinct animals Reliquiæ was letterpress-printed at Columbia College Chicago Center for Book & Paper Arts in the spring of 2005. The handmade paper is flax and hemp, internally sized and buffered. The font is 17th Century Print, a digital facsimile from a book printed in 1686. The VanDyke brown photographs were printed on handcoated Japanese Gampi paper using digital inkjet negatives. The binding is a modified Romanesque, sewn on cords and laced on quarter-sawn oak boards. There are 5 copies of Reliquiæ, of which this is number 5. (Colophon) MSU copy: includes information card about the book.

Réplicas Poems written 1993-1994. Mimeographed reproductions of typescript, drawings, and decorative borders on individual leaves of mostly coarse brown papers; illustrated title pages on white bond; decorated paper cutouts suggesting playing cards are mounted on single leaves of black and moss green tissue paper and on folded final leaf. Stapled at left margin and glued to brown paper wrappers. Wrappers are illustrated with a wraparound collage of red, black, white, and brown papers of various textures decorated with mimeographed and hand-painted drawings and a small piece of cord; some moveable parts. Part of a collection of handmade books, most with cords for hanging (literatura de cordel), published by Ediciones Vigía under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Culture. Retazos (de las hormigas) : para los malos tiempos Poems. Text printed primarily on coarse brown paper; grained sand-colored paper and white and blue bond paper are also used. Brown tissue-paper endpapers. Heavy brown paper wrappers are decorated with affixed collages; front endpaper and one interior page also have cutouts affixed to them. Title and author name, and illustrations, are printed on an artistically cut sheet of white bond paper attached only at its left edge to the front wrapper; the word Retazos in the title is on a strip of heavy blue paper glued to the top of this. Navy blue and gray strings are looped vertically around some of the pages and tied; blue string is also woven into a cutout affixed to back wrapper, with a free end attached to an unaffixed tag bearing the copy no. Rome S.P.Q.R. This book is the second in a series of artists' books incorporating old travel guidebooks. The text was scanned from an 1893 Baedeker Italy book, and laser printed on Frankfurt white papter. Each page was dyed with Lavazza espresso, then printed with linoleum blocks. The edition is 20 copies --Colophon. An altered book consisting of reproductions of various scattered pages from: Italy, handbook for travellers / by K. Baedeker. Second Part, Central Italy and Rome. Eleventh revised edition. Leipsic : Karl Baedeker, publisher, 1893. Some pages are double (e.g. fold out map), many have linoleum prints, usually in black, sometimes in one or two colors, over the text or instead of the text; other pages have mounted cut-out linoleum prints, some of which are folded.
