The booklet is encased in a portfolio with a black cloth spine and red patterned paper covered boards. The portfolio is housed in a clamshell box with matching black cloth spine and paper covered boards. Both box and portfolio are labeled in black on the front covers. The spines of both also have matching paper title labels. Illustrated with four mezzotints. Each piece is numbered and signed by the artist. Typescript and drawings mimeographed on individual and folded leaves of coarse brown and white papers, stapled at left margin and glued to black tissue-paper endpapers. Upper endpaper is decorated with mounted paper cutouts laced with a cord. Lower endpaper is glued to waste paper and then to brown paper wrappers, which fold over spine and fore-edge and open in center of front (a u fold). Wrappers are illustrated with collages of painted and decorated papers, leaves from a plant or bush, and other organic matter (the colophon says coffee grounds and fish scales), and tie with yarn.
