Drop in and Get Help at DSL Office Hours
The MSU Libraries Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL) is excited to announce a new opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to get support through our hybrid Office Hours. Twice a week, you can drop in and connect with experts on a variety of topics, including data services, digital scholarship, immersive technologies, and data science basics.
Whether you're starting a new project, troubleshooting an issue, or just curious about our services, these Office Hours are open to all affiliated with MSU. No appointment is needed. If these times do not work with schedule, you may always arrange an appointment with us through out consultation request form.
Here’s the lineup of Office Hours:
- Data Services (Every other Tuesday, beginning January 14, 2025)
Get help with data management plans, research data management, choosing a repository, and more. - Immersive Technologies (Every other Thursday, beginning January 16, 2025)
Get help with the 360 Room, XR/VR, 360 cameras, 3d scanning, and designing immersive experiences for teaching and research. - Digital Scholarship (Every other Tuesday, beginning January 21, 2025)
Get help with digital scholarship or digital humanities projects, digital storytelling, Omeka and digital exhibit platforms, text mining and analysis, and more. - Data Science Basics (Every other Thursday, beginning January 23, 2025)
Build foundational skills in data science and analysis.
Location
All office hours are offered in a hybrid format with staff available in DSL Project Room J (in-person) or via Zoom (MSU NetID Required).
