no preview available

The front panel is shades of dark green with the title at top written in white lettering. Beneath is a photo of Aunt Jenny. In a speech balloon to her right is written, "I hope you'll try every one of'em, folks. They're so easy with purer, creamier SPRY an' so good-tastin'." The back panel shows a close-up of Aunt Jenny pointing at her cookbook and inviting the reader to mail in a coupon and receive it for free. Below that is a description of the cookbook, an order form, and an illustration of a can of Spry pure vegetable shortening. The inside of the leaflet contains recipes for Arabian spice cake, quick fudge frosting, twin apple pies, spry pie crust, golden fish saute, doughnuts, steak and onion pie, spry pastry, peter pan cookies and cinnamon rolls. The leaflet has four panels on each side of a single piece of paper. There are some photographs and drawings to accompany the recipes, which all use Spry as an ingredient.
