Recall "Checked Out" Items
Special Holiday Dates
Due to MSU's semester break and holidays, recalls requested between 12/1/17 and 12/25/17 will be due 1/9/18. Beginning 12/26/17, the 14-day recall due date will resume. You may try MeLCat; however, many libraries close for 2 weeks for the holidays, so those requests may not be processed until 2018. Also, please check with Reference to see if there are alternate resources currently available at MSU.
Please use this form to request that we recall CHECKED OUT material and hold it for you.
What happens when this form is submitted? On the next business day (Monday - Friday, except University holidays), a "recall notice" will be sent to the borrower requesting return within 14 days. When the item is returned, you will be notified that it is being held for you. You may log in to your Library account to check the item's status.
POLICY: If a recalled item is not returned within 14 days, the current borrower loses library privileges, is fined $1 per day, is billed for replacement, and (if an MSU student) is blocked from MSU enrollment, registration, diploma, and transcripts.
