Comic Art

The Comic Art Collection at Stephen O. Murray and Keelung Hong Special Collections began as a donation from Professor Russel B. Nye, and has grown to become the largest collection of comics, comic art, graphic novels, and related research materials in the world. The collection contains comics published as early as the 1830s up to the present day. There is representation from every continent except Antarctica. In addition to comics, there are journals and books related to the creation of comics and animation in a variety of formats, and about the history and criticism of comics.
