Armistice Day and the End of the Great War
Now through August 2018
Main Library, 3rd Floor, West Wing
What began as a conflict between Austria-Hungary and the Kingdom of Serbia in 1914 ultimately led to a worldwide conflict engaging 32 countries and leaving millions dead. This year we mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, which at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 brought the devastation of the First World War to an end.
