Description
The front panel of this single fold trade-card is a two-dimensional representation of an actual box of Arm & Hammer baking soda. The "top" of the box says "Do Not Use Too Much" and the "side" of the box says "First Prize Awarded The Arm & Hammer Brand For Its Great Whiteness And Purity At The Worlds Exhibition, New Orleans, 1885." The front has the trademark burly arm holding the hammer. The back panel features promotional text on Arm & Hammer Brand Soda and Saleratus. The inside features a two-panel lithograph cartoon with verse about Jack Spratt, which ends "All came to naught, until she bought the "Arm and Hammer" brand."
