This pamphlet is a collection of yeast bread recipes, including kneaded breads such as Swedish Skanska Limpa and Jewish Challah; Sweet Roll Doughs with variations such as Cinnamon Rolls and Hungarian Coffee Cake; Fancy Dessert Sweets; Batter Breads; Coffee Breads; Breakfast yeast doughnuts and waffles; and “Special Foreign Breads” including Italian Easter Bread. There are many colorful illustrations and photographs, and a welcome note from General Mills fictional spokesperson Betty Crocker. Recipes call for Gold Medal Flour and Fleischmann’s Yeast, both General Mills products.
