The front cover is blue, white, and black. There is an index in the upper right corner for the second session. There is an eagle on top of a circular frame with the title. There is a representation of an American flag in the lower left corner in black and white with five stars and seven stripes. The blue border at the bottom has: Held in cooperation with the National Live Stock and Meat Board, Chicago, Ill.; Second Session; and Miss Emily Conklin, Demonstrator. The back cover is white with a blue and black border with stars on the right side. There is a list of the free gifts, a list of participation appliance dealers, and that the "Glitter Girl" frocks worn by Miss Conklin and staff are courtesy of the S. S. Kresge 25¢ and $1.00 store. The front end page has directions on carving a rib of roast beef. There are twenty-three recipes. There are black and white photos of various cuts of meats through out the pages. The centerfold has a blue and white rectangle with an oval frame with an eagle on top with Today's Hurry-up Meal. Pages 9/10 have a registration blank to be used in awarding gifts. The back end page has homemade mixes and their uses. The three mixes are pie mix, biscuit mix, and gingerbread mix.
