When the second panel is opened, it shows a drawing of the woman carrying a large cake to her family of six sitting at the table. It reads, "Look at dis yer cake missus: sho' as yo' bo'n, de Arm and Hammer Brand of Soda and Saleratus am de boss. Clar' to goodness anty yo' am right, dat cake am jes' lubly don't yo' neber buy no udder brand." The very back panel has a promo for Arm and Hammer Brand Soda and Saleratus. The bottom reads, "For sale by A.O. Hoskins. Dealer in dry goods, groceries, etc. Hats, caps, boots and shoes. Pierpont, Ohio."
