This tri-fold leaflet is printed in blue ink on white paper. The front panel has a blue border around the shape of a canning jar. In the white canning jar are the title at the top and Kerr Glass Manufacturing Company, Portland, Ore, USA, Eastern Office Philadelphia PA at the bottom. In the middle is a drawing of a woman placing food into a canning jar. The back panel has testimonials about canning from cooks and chefs. In the middle of the panel is a list of the highest awards and gold medals at 1905 World's Fair, 1904 World's Fair and the 1905 Dominion Fair in Canada. At the bottom of the panel is a box that says: "Economy Jars are used in every State in the Union. If you want the name and address of some nearby resident who has used the Economy Jar, write us." The inside panels provide information on the uses, benefits and background of the Economy Jar, including why rubber rings and zinc tops should not be used on canning jars. There is also instruction on canning with the Economy Jar and how to clean them.
