Description
The black-and-white wraparound cover has the title in black lettering inside a decorative white border at the top of the front and back covers. A black-and-white photograph of two women admiring a dessert held by a maid wraps around the front and back. The title page has Frozen Desserts And Salads Made In Frigidaire, developed for Frigidaire Corporation by Jessie M. DeBoth, A.B., Director of DeBoth Home Makers' Schools of Chicago, Illinois. Inside is an introduction about how "Frigidaire -- the Electric Refrigerator" makes it easy to make frozen dishes. Recipes follow for cocktails, salads, desserts and iced drinks. Many of the recipes are accompanied by color illustrations. Several black-and-white photographs show happy hostesses and guests, each with a promotion for how Frigidaire makes entertaining easy. There is a black-and-white photograph of the Frigidaire Model M-9 among the recipes and a drawing of the Frigidaire Corporation headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, on the last page. Jessie A. DeBoth was formerly a Home Economics Specialist and Girls' Club Leader in charge of Upper Michigan, under joint supervision of Michigan Agricultural College and United States cooperating.
