The wraparound cover is cream with black print. "Feeding Diabetic Patients" is in black outlined lettering and ". . . young and old --" is in script. The company name and address is at the bottom. The back cover has a double-line frame around a chart for Amino Acid Composition of Gelatine by Dakin* and a nutritional Analysis of Knox Sparkling Gelatine. There is information to obtain additional copies of the pamphlet and the company name and address. The front end page has a brief foreword and an Index. The back end page provides information on the ingredients and process of making Knox Gelatines with black-and-white drawings of boxes of Sparkling and Plain Sparkling Gelatine. An introduction precedes dietetic information for diabetics including charts and measures of calories and carbohydrates. There are suggested menus for restricted, liberal and low carbohydrate diets. There are recipes for soups, salad dressings, vegetables, salads, desserts and confections for diabetics.
