Description
The front of the card has a color drawing of a young girl (the girl on this card was P.D. Beckwith's only granddaughter, Mary Lee) in a white dress reclining on a red drape with a doll beside her. In the upper left corner is "The Name Tells." The back of the card has a promotion for "The Round Oak, Makes 'Em Hustle, 5 Sizes for Coal or Wood. . . . Beware of Imitations. The Genuine Bears the Name of P.D. Beckwith, Dowagiac, Mich." At the bottom, after "Sold by" is stamped "Wm. Deck, Raymond, Ill."
