Mirro-Matic Pressure Pan - Directions, Recipes, Timetables [1961]

Description
The cover of this pamphlet is white with black print. The Mirro-matic logo in the upper left corner is outlined in red and directions, recipes and timetables have red bullets. A black band at the bottom has "Economy Model" in white with the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on the right. A gold, red and black foil sticker on the lower left has "Over 10 Million In Use." The back cover has the Mirro-Matic logo to the left of "America's most wanted Pressure Pan" above the Underwriters' Laboratory seal. Five features are listed in black with red bullets. There is a black band at the bottom. The front end page has a table of contents and instructions on replacement of the safety fuse. The first page has a black-and-white drawing of a woman holding this booklet as she is about to taste something on a spoon above "An Adventure In Good Cooking" with an overview of the Mirro-Matic. There is a warning that "This model not designed for pressure canning." There is information on cleaning and care of the Mirro-Matic, "Important!" warnings, six illustrated steps to cooking with the Mirro-Matic, 11 "Important Don'ts," Mirro-Matic features with illustrations and how the Mirro-Matic saves vitamins, flavor and time. There are tables for cooking various foods: Fresh Vegetables, Dried Vegetables, Dried Fruits, Cereals, Meats and Fowl, Soups and Chowders, Fish and Sea Food, Frozen Vegetables, Fresh Fruit and Pasta. There is an illustrated list of Mirro-Matic parts and four illustrated pages on other Mirro products: electric housewares, covered bakeware, cookware with DuPont Teflon, deluxe Mirro electrics, jet-stream styled cookware, cookie press, Copper-tone molds and even-heating bakeware.
