Description
This pamphlet, which is beige with brown print, has "Food Talks" at the top above a thin line. Below the line is "Taste-Tempting International Recipes And Selected Favorites Specially Adapted For Pressure Cooking By the Mirro Test Kitchen" inset in a drawing of a pressure cooker beside meat on a cutting board, a pepper mill, a bottle of wine and a timer. At the bottom is the Mirro-Matic logo to the left of Speed Pressure Cooker with "Cuts Cooking Time To Mere Minutes/Tenderizes Nsturally" below. The back cover has the company name and address in the upper left corner with space for a mailing address above "First Class Mail." The bottom half has drawings of six Mirro products above the company name and address and a promo for Mirro products. The front end page has an introduction by Laura Wilson, Home Economics Director, Mirro Test Kitchen, above a box with three benefits of pressure cooking: cuts cooking time, saves vitamins and minerals and tenderizes naturally. At the bottom is a recipe for Veal Marengo. Recipes include French (Boeuf Bourgignon), Chinese (Pork Chops), Dutch (Beef Birds), German (Short Ribs with Caper Sauce), Scandinavian (Beef Stew), Italian (Chicken Italian Style) and Mexican (Chili Beef Sauce). Each of these has a small drawing depicting the country of the recipe. The back end page has an illustrated list of Mirro-Matic features: automatic pressure control, V-type self-sealing gasket, easy to open and close, automatic safety release and Mirro-Matic recipe book.
