Description

The back cover begins at the top with an illustration of the factory and continues with a diagram showing the space occupied for the Business of Hood's Sarsaparilla in different years. Below, there are a couple paragraphs explaining "The Secret Of This Success." The front end page contains all the Hood's Sarsaparilla Publications that have ever been published. The following inside pages include a title page and an introduction page. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that fall under the categories of breads, candy, cakes, soups, salads, puddings, meats, pickles, and vegetables. All recipes entail all the ingredients needed plus detailed directions on how to prepare the dish. There are 130 recipes that are each labeled and numbered. The back end page contains a "Acrostic- Owled Edition" with a drawn illustration at the bottom.
