Description
The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of two cows and red leaves against a grey background. Below the illustration, the title "Your Visit TO Carnation" is written in white and red lettering. The back cover contains a red and white can of Carnation Milk with the phrase "From Contented Cows" stated below in black lettering. The inside pages are dedicated to various aspects about the Carnation Company and the process to produce their products. Some of the topics discussed include the receiving porch, irradiation, homogenizing, sterilization, final touches, and modern milk. All subject headings are written in red lettering followed by informational paragraphs written in black lettering. There are various black and white illustrations located throughout the inside pages of various steps during the process of making milk. The last inside page contains a black and white photographic illustration of "The Carnation Contented Hour cast of musicians and singers." Attached is a typed letter signed by Mary Blake, who is part of the Home Service Department at Carnation Company. The top of the letter is titled "Carnation Company, Oconomowoc Wisconsin." No page numbers.
