Bio/About

Caitlyn Perry Dial is the Director of Development at Michigan State University Libraries, where she leads a team and manages major and principal gift prospects, focusing on 6 and 7-figure gifts. She plans donor strategies, assists with tax-related giving, and builds university partnerships. Previously, she was Executive Director at Michigan Women's Historical Center and Hall of Fame. Caitlyn holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in History from Western Michigan and Wayne State, as well as a B.A. in History from Michigan State University. She is actively involved in the Michigan Museums Association and Development Officers of Research and Academic Libraries (DORAL). At home, she's a mom to two active boys, a dog mom, a partner to her college sweetheart, an active community member, and Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Brighton District Library.
