MSU Researcher Highlight
We want to feature MSU research on our website. If that is you or someone else you know, please contact the subject librarian(s) above, and we'll highlight it on our page!
Databases & Terms Searched:
The search terms used for this bibliography included "inclusive", "music classroom," "pedagogy", "music and diversity," and "music education." In order to cast a wide net for search results, the searches were done in MSU Libraries Search Plus instead of limiting to one discipline-specific database.
Themes:
Many of the results found while preparing this bibliography were focused on K-12 teaching environments and ensemble and/or performance-based classrooms. While some of the resources here do include the university level music classroom setting, this is clearly an area that could benefit from additional research and scholarship concerning inclusive teaching.
