Accessing the wireless network in the library

The Main Library currently offers wireless network access to MSU students, staff, and faculty throughout the building. Limited guest access is also available to non-MSU affiliated users.

You can visit the MSUnet Wireless website for instructions on how to join eduroam, which provides full access to the campus wireless network. You only need to do this once per device. The website also contains links to specific information for connecting to eduroam based on your operating system. If needed, connect to the MSU Guest wireless network to reach the MSUnet Wireless website.

Will I be able to access the MSU Libraries’ online resources (e.g. the catalog, electronic journals, etc.) via the Wireless Network?

In order to access the library resources from the main library using your laptop with a wireless connection, you will need to set the proxy server settings (see Off-Campus Access for instructions).

For assistance in using the electronic resources, please see the staff at the Main Library Reference Desk in the main lobby.

Can I print from my computer via a Wireless Network connection?
