The front panel is yellow stock with the title written in brown ink. Beneath the title is a drawing of a lemon fruit with leaves and flowers surrounding it. In small print beneath that: "Courtesy of California Fruit Growers Exchange - Sunkist Lemons." The back panel has a reprint of a page from The Saturday Evening Post from March 7, 1936 featuring lemon recipes. The headline says "Just in Time for Lent!" At the lower left bottom corner: "C-39-220M-2-36" and at the lower right bottom: "Printed in U.S.A." The two-fold leaflet unfolds to reveal a three panel page, with the top edge folded over. At the very top left is a title: "How we selected the year's best Lemon Recipes" with copy discussing that and promoting Sunkist California Lemons. Recipes fill the rest of the page, including ones for lemon nog, lemon sherbert, lemon gelatine chiffon pie, lemon pudding, lemon coconut filling for white cake, and fish in lemon aspic, all printed in the same brown ink on yellow stock.
