The front cover is grey with a bright red border on the top and bottom of the page. There is an illustration of a woman in a polka dot apron holding up a layer cake next to a Hotpoint Electric Range. The back cover is white with wording in the center that says "Dependability Assured By 40 Years Experience, Hotpoint Home Appliances." At the very bottom is written, "S6000, Printed in U.S.A., RC8P70." The inside is a guide to using the electric range, a brief guide to cooking, and also a collection of recipes. The pamphlet has a Table of Contents which divides sections into: Introduction to Range; Surface Cooking; 'Thrift Cooker' Cooking; Oven Cooking; Broiling. Some of the recipes are: Doughnuts, French Fried Onions, Beef Stew, Boston Beans, and Corn Bread. There is an Index to Recipes on the inside back cover, organized by Soups; Meats; Vegetables; Sauces; Breads; Desserts; Frostings-Fillings; Comkplete Thrift Cooker Meals; Complete Oven Meals and Complete Broiled Meals. There is an insert of a single card titled "Hotpoint Warranty."
