- The front cover is decorated with a blue and white plaid background. The title is written in white. The back cover is the same wrap-around plaid pattern. The inside is an operation and care guide for the Hotpoint Electric Range, as well as a recipe collection. At the bottom of the title page is displayed the "NRA member" logo (NRA stands for the New Deal agency known as the National Recovery Administration.)There is an index listing recipes; some are Caramel pudding, Devil's Food Cake, Italian spaghetti, Lemon Sauce, Nut Bread, and Buchta (Coffee Cake). At the back is a cardboard "Quick Reference Chart" designed to be detached.
