The front cover is white with the title in dark red, brown and blue. There is a figure of Rob Roy, dressed in a kilt, holding a bugle and a sword. Below the title is written "Coldwater, Mich." The back cover is white with a colorful seal of the Wm. A. Coombs Milling Co., "copyrighted 1895." Beneath that it says "When you see this label rest assured You have the BEST flour made. THE WM. A. COOMBS MILLING COMPANY, Coldwater, Mich. This book will be sent to any address on receipt of 5 cents in stamps." The inside tells the story of Rob Roy, in verse, while inserting references to Rob Roy Flour into the last stanza of each poem. Rich colorful illustrations are featured, as well as black and white drawings.
