The front panel has an illustration of the Capitol building, an eagle, flags, and a small map showing the location of the District of Columbia. On the bottom right it says "Area 70 Sq. Miles. Population 177,624." At the bottom in small print is written "Copyright 1889 Arbuckle Bros. NY." The back panel has blue print on tan cardboard. The heading on the left-hand column is "Arbuckles' Ariosa Coffee Costs More and Is Worth More than Other Brands of Coffee." It lists four reasons, and a warning about buying low-grade coffee. On the right side is a description of this series of 50 trade cards (one card per state or territory) Note: territories include: Arizona, Idaho, "Indian", Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.
