- The front cover has an illustration of a couple standing in with a dinner table in the background. The Kroger Food Foundation logo is at the right hand corner of the illustration. The title of the booklet, "Guiding the Bride Through The First Trying Days in the Kitchen" is written in red lettering. The inside of the cover page contains an introductory text on the purpose of the bulletin and contact information. The first page of the booklet contains an illustration of a woman in a kitchen's doorway which is followed by a short essay on the purpose of the booklet. Inside is information on the daily diet, informaton on how to make food more tempting, information on hints to manage the food budget, and information on cooking equipment, substitutions, cooking time tables, and other general information on information for use in the kitchen. The back cover contains a list of other bulletins printed by The Kroger Food Foundation.
