The front panel has a beige, red and grey lithograph of the S.S. Marvin & Co. cracker factory. Below that is written "Pittsburgh, PA" and below that is an illustration of a pile of crackers. At the very bottom is a reprint of a newspaper article about Sylvester Stephen Marvin. The back panel is white with black print and advertises the "Picnic and Luncheon Goods" sold by the grocery department of J. Hostetter & Son of Greencastle PA.
