The front cover has a red background with white and blue dots scattered throughout. The title "Royal Cook Book" is written in blue lettering inside of a white box. The back cover features the same background as the front with a container of Royal Baking Powder and the phrase "Royal..the Cream of Tartar Baking Powder..leaves no bitter taste" written in blue lettering to the right of the container. The inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that utilize Royal Baking Powder in them. The recipes are split into categories including biscuits and rolls, cakes, cookies, gingerbread, muffins, puddings, quick loafs breads, and shortcakes. All recipes entail a list of ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. There are black and white photographic illustrations located throughout the inside pages. Pages sixty two through sixty four are made up of the index to all recipes.
