There are chapters on vegetables and on fruits and berries concerning the food elements supplied and general method for cooking as well as recipes. One chapter discusses how to dehydrate foods. Two chapters discuss the food elements of fish and meat and general methods for preparation. There is a chapter for soups and stews and one for salads. A chapter discusses menus, balanced diets, rules for menu making, and some sample menus. The last chapter discusses the findings of the Priscilla Proving Pant. There is a page on why the utensils give better service, pages with examples of the utensils, a page on cold pack canning and a page on making coffee. The page across from the back end page has the trademark and the three types of utensils sold and where.
