This is the cover for the pamphlets for the four sessions of the American Way cooking school. It is a single yellow sheet that wraps around the four pamphlets. The front panel has an eagle atop a circular frame with the title inside. There are stars in an elliptical line slanted left to right and five wavy stripes behind it. All of the writing and line drawings are in brown. The bottom states: Compliments of National Live Stock and Meat Board, 407 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois. The back panel states: Meat in Nutrition. Meat is the Foundation of the Meal. There are two boxes at the bottom; one has what to do if you are reducing [i.e. losing weight] and the other is on the daily needs of everyone for good health. Open the leaflet the small right fold has how to garnish the meat platter. Opening the sheet fully, the panels are from left to right: For successful meat cookery: Follow cooking method that fits the cut and the last smaller panel is preparation of the meat garnish.
