The front cover is white with a red circle behind a cartoon of a baby butcher holding a cleaver. The back cover reads, "A perfect uniform with a mild, delicious flavor." In the center is a black circle with polar bears which is the Freeze-em-pickle logo with a box of Freeze-em-pickle in the upper right and two barrels of Freeze-em-pickle in the lower left. The bottom reads, "For curing hams, shoulders, bacon, corned beef, pickled-pork, and for curing all kinds of sausage meat. Complies with the U.S. Pure Foods Law." This trade magazine was intended to inform the meat industry of methods and news related to butchering, processing and sales, and to promote Heller products.
