The front panel is black with the head and shoulders of a pink-cheeked maid wearing a ruffled red and white striped dress and a beaded necklace that reads, "Horsford's Baking Powder." The back panel has a promo for baking powder, including two endorsements. The bottom has a stamp from the dealer that reads, "For sale by Merritt, the grocer, Jackson, Mich."
