Description: There are eight trade cards in this collection. Each feature a monkey, Cully, and a parrot, Polly, with a glass bottle on a black background. The backs of each have promos for Armour's Luncheon Beef. Included in the set are: 1) "Eh Cully lets crack it" (promo on back: "A comfort in camps. A necessity everywhere"); 2) "Pull away Polly me darlint" (promo on back: "Hotels and restaurants are keeping it. It is a necessity to them in hot weather"); 3) "A corker" (promo on back: "No yacht complete without a stock of it"); 4) "Set 'm up again" (promo on back: "Is selling where Canned Beef never sold before. It was recognized everywhere as something better than anything packed hitherto"); 5) "We may be happy yet, you bet" (promo on back: "Is now used in the U.S. Army"); 6) "You're no gentleman y'son of a baboon" (promo on back: "Is now used in the U.S. Navy"); 7) "D-M *** !! ** ? !!"
