Description

The front cover of this pamphlet is light gray with the main title in black print. The Lorain Red Wheel logo is framed in white and red lines with Look For The Red Wheel in white letters. Below there is a drawing framed in black with a stove and a maid carrying a casserole toward the oven. On the table in the forefront are two filled canning jars, an angel food cake, a ham, a pie and rolls. The words Lorain Oven Heat Regulator are in red print. The back cover is gray with a drawing of a New Process stove framed in red. The drawing also has the Lorain Red Wheel logo. Below the framed drawing are the words For Sale By. In the lower right corner is NO. 290 150M 4-17-23. There is no title page. The first page is an index followed by Example Recipes, including a page entitled What Is Meant By Example Recipes. There are eight menus including some recipes and followed by more Example Recipes. There are 22 pages of drawings of various models of New Process stoves with descriptions and specifications. In the back of the pamphlet is information on canning, menus and recipes for a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner and a Lorain Breakfast, "cooked (for the most part) in the oven of a Lorain-equipped Gas Range at Night -- While You Sleep." There is a page of Lorain Facts and a Table of Measurement Equivalents. The last page is an advertisement for the New Process Gas Ranges.
