The front and back covers of the pamphlet have a gray background with black and white drawings of plates of food. The front has a black block in the upper left corner with the title Pet Springtime Recipes in white print; the lower right corner has a black block with With "Step By Step" Directions and the author's name in white print. The back cover has a black block with the full title and author's name in white print. The front end page has a menu for a "delicious Springtime Dinner." There are two holes punched on the edge. The first page describes what Pet Milk is and defines the differences between Pet Milk evaporated milk, condensed milk and dry milk. The back end page has an index of recipes and an advertisement of The Pet-Milky-Way radio program. There are black-and-white photographs accompanying most recipes. An advertisement for the 200-page loose-leaf Pet Cookbook is on pages 16-18.
