This pamphlet with rounded edges has a photograph of ham, potatoes and peas behind the Mirro-Matic Pressure Pan on the front cover. At the top is the title in red and black on a goldenrod background. At the bottom is the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval and Underwriter's Laboratory Seal on a goldenrod background. The back cover is goldenrod with "These Features Make Mirro-Matic the Most-Wanted Pressure Pan" with seven features listed in black and red print. The title page has a black-and-white photograph of the Mirro test kitchen above the title and company name and address. There is a table of contents followed by Important! warnings, detailed instructions on How To Cook, Important Don'ts!, how to clean the Mirro-Matic, Mirro-Matic features with illustrations, and how the Mirro-Matic saves vitamins, flavor and time. There are tables for cooking various foods: Fresh Vegetables, Dried Vegetables, Dried Fruits, Cereals, Meats and Fowl, Soups and Chowders, Pasta and Rice, Fish and Sea Food and Frozen Vegetables amid the recipes. There is a section with instructions and time tables for pressure canning followed by a full-page illustration of "just a small portion of the complete MIRRO utensil line" and a promo about Mirro products and how they are tested and approved. The last page has a list of Mirro-Matic Parts with illustrations and prices (both East and West prices).
