Description

The front cover has "Food Talks from the Mirro test kitchen" in black above a teal, black and white drawing of a casserole dish behind a cutting board with a knife and mushrooms, a bottle of wine, a salt shaker and a pepper mill. In the upper left corner is Volume 43 and in the upper right corner is Number 1. At the bottom is "Food With A Flair" in black. The back cover has the Mirro logo to the left of "Sets the Scene - Curtain Time for Beauty and Elegance" above a teal, black and white photograph of the Manhattan "designer collection" of porcelain cookware. A description of the cookware is to the left of a photograph of the cookware box and seals for Genuine Porcelain and Teflon II. At the bottom is the company name and address. The front end page has "Plain and Fancy" by Laura Wilson, Mirro Home Economics Director, with a drawing of a young woman.
