Description

This goldenrod pamphlet has dark green print. "Food Talks From The Mirro Test Kitchen" is above a drawing of a cake and candies on a table beside a Christmas tree and wrapped present. Behind is a paned window with a snowman outside. At the bottom is "The Taste of Christmas." In the upper left corner is Volume 45 and in the upper right corner is Number 5. The back cover has the Mirro logo beside "A Christmas Custom" above lists of Teflon-Finished Bakeware, Non-Coated Interiors, Copper-Tone Molds and Mirro Electrics. On the right are illustrations of several of the Mirro products. At the bottom is the company name and address. the front end page has an introduction by Laura Wilson, Mirro Home Economics Director beside a drawing of a young woman. Below are tips about baking with Mirro products. Recipes are for Pumpkin Bread, Baked Carrot Pudding, Creamy Hard Sauce, Apricot Braid, Jam Envelopes, Haman's Hats (a recipe for Purim, a spring Jewish holiday, NOT Christmas!), Lemon Crisps, Peanut Brittle, Pumpkin Spritz, English Tea Cookies, Orange Buttermilk Cookies, Peanut Bars and Caramel Candy Bars.
